What's new

What do you think people about my first video?

Nothing wrong there. I would make the same comment I made to Gissy, do you have any irritation? If you don't great. If you do look at the video, you go over the same area about 5-6 times.

Didn't have irritation. I have a very though beard that generally wouldn't be cleaned out with longer & fever passes. And that time I was just back from military service and my beard was hard as rock. :) Though I had cut the adam's apple area as my hands got out of practice when in military.

Thanks for the video. Was the alum block the final step, or did you use aftershave as well? Can't really criticize your personal technique (if it works for you, that's the main thing), but I do notice that you seem to be rinsing the blade quite a bit with running water. Have you thought of wiping the blade on a barber's towel or a sponge instead? I bring this up because I have been in places where water consumption was an issue, and this has led me to wipe the blade on a barber's towel instead, rinsing only between passes.

Thank you too. I actually used nivea anti irritation extreme comfort balsam after alum, but you know the video length story. I actually had never thought about wiping the blade. Because we do not have water consumption problems here. Also as you can see I don't keep the water running as some do. Now that's a waste.

To me, wiping the blade is better as you have less chance of knocking the edge against the sink or tap. I just keep a sponge at the side of the sink and wipe the blade with that.
