Shave #2 with the Ikon (Shavemac) TEK. Same everything as yesterday.

What a difference a day makes! I was much more comfortable navigating my face with the TEK today.

What did I learn from yesterday to today? No ATG and using a very steep angle makes a huge difference.

Had a wonderful shave!

Super efficient? Yes.

Everyday shaver? Probably, as long as I use a really steep angle and do not go ATG.

Overall, a very nice and efficient razor.

The blade...whooaaa!! 1st pass wtg the blade is tugging...after 6 strokes, I replaced with a SuperMax Stainless new...much better.
Continue wtg then xtg/atg and another atg/xtg and last was xtg/atg total almost 4 full pass. Excellent results. Jawline cleared of persistent stubbles.
Excellent old antique razor!

Razor: Oneblade core version #2 -MFG 2018> ,excellent daily driver.
Blade : Gem SS PTFE modified (9)
Soap : Proraso red sandal wood.
Brush: Yaqi timberwolf 24mm- nice dense packed soft tip whiskers.
Preshave: Brush wash my face with CeraVe hand bar soap + a dollop of clear aloe Vera gel on beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 3.
Post shave: Proraso red sandal wood aftershave with witch Hazel + Nivea Men balm.
Results: 9.5/10 or CCS,DFS, BBS + no irritation + no weepers =

6/10 built an incredible lather and went to shaving my face and it just felt terrible. My chin and right cheek are on fire, I was getting some tugging on my neck during the ATG pass.

My only guesses are either the Bolzano was trash after two shaves or I’ve been shaving a bit too often with the Schone. Every two days might not be giving my face a chance to heal up.

Same setup as yesterday, but with a Super Chrome instead of Super Stainless. It seemed slightly less sharp and slightly less comfortable for some reason, so it gets a slightly lower rating.

I'm postponing tomorrow morning's shave until after my new Rex Envoy arrives sometime during the day. I think I'll use the same gear, but go back to a Personna Med Prep for my first spin with it. I'm excited!
