First off, I know nothing about straight razors or hones. The only straight I own belonged to my Grandfather and is currently sitting on a shelf. That being said, I bought this straight and hone from a friend that runs a small antique shop that is struggling to stay above water. I also bought a New Type DE that I did not need.
So I thought I had better come to the experts to see if I need to get this fixed up and try a straight shave or should I put it on a shelf as a display.
