Im using tesco's own DE blades in a gillette tech, ive never tried any others to compare, anyone every tried tesco's if not what blades do you use?

I have not tried Tesco's. I am using Gillette 7 O'Clock Blacks almost exclusively at the moment. Very sharp and very smooth.
I use them all. They seem fine.
I do particularly like Astra sp though and will use them when my sampler is finished.

Astra sp is my primary blade.
I'm a feather guy myself. I'm almost out though, and will probably pick up a sampler pack to get a feel for the others. I've only used Feathers, Walmart Wilkies, generic rebranded Personnas, and Merkurs. The Feathers work great for me but I think a dull lawnmower blade would also be more effective that the others I've used.
Astra SP for me.
Astra, Feather, Shark, Personna, Crystal, Iridium (while my supply lasts). I like all of them.
Astra SP has been the only thing ive used since starting wet shaving bout a year ago. but i just ordered this off amazon to try more blades.
Feather at the top of the list, Blue Bird, bought some astra sps after seeing the forum , havent really had a chance to shave with them yet. personnas are nice. I would bet gillette has good razor blades, bic makes razor blades too. Switched to a GEM razor blade and havent shaved with a DE in a while. Saw online from the online auctions that irdium blades are no longer being produced, is that right? Very expensive blade btw. Proably would of topped a feather.

The Red Personna are my all-time favourite and use these most of the times when shaving with a DE. Once in a while I also like using Shark Super Chrome and Bolzano Superinox Inossidabile, both reliable and consistent blades for me.
I like Astra's and Derby are ok. But just tried some Feathers and got my closest shave yet. (also got a nasty nick.) Those Feathers are SHARP and require a light touch.

Blades from Tesco are probably just rebranded Personna blades (Asda and Sainsburys sell them as well) they get the job done but I find them a little rough. When I use DE I tend to go for Feathers, they're worth the extra few pennies but you'll have to order them

Feather is pretty much my go-to. I'm going to get some 7 O'Clock Yellows and maybe a few of the black packs, and also some Personnas. I'm planning on making a run up to Pasteur's when I visit my sister in Philly next week (we have a trip to NYC planned).
