What are your shaving related goals for 2013?

2012 is almost at an end.
2013 is just around the corner.

What do you hope to accomplish (that is shaving related) in 2013?

I would love to get better at honing.
I have a coticule but I just can't seem to figure it out for anything more than finishing.

Straights have been pulling me to them for a long time now. 2013 will be the year I find out if they are for me or not.

For the next twelve months, I definitely need to get a lot more practice (and pleasure) from the five DE razors I now own. And I've only begun to try all the blades in my sampler pack.

I'm still looking for a great unscented shaving cream (but I've currently exceeded my grooming budget), so I have that to look forward to in 2013.

Most defiantly get better at honing. I really want some stones, been using films and like it but feel bevel setting would be much more productive on stone.

Since I just picked up the art of shaving with a DESR, I plan to work on my technique and look into a scuttle. Also would like to make a stand for my razors and brushes, somewhere along the lines of a caddy and a cabinet.

Complete the quest (use brand of blade/month for each month) and begin stocking up. Figure out which soap/creams I prefer (after Jan, as it will cause me to buy some stuff). 1 PIF/month.

Cut my credit card shaving expenditures by half. They were somewhat lower in 2012 only because I was able to sell off some old brushes to fund new brushes. The actual total spent in 2012 was not much less than 2011 and 2010. Any one of those years was enough to have kept me in carts and canned goo until I died. Not much left to sell for 2013 so I'll have to concentrate on using what I have and replacing only favorites.

2013 will be the year of D R Harris. I plan on shaving with a D R Harris soap every time that I shave at home. I may even grab a Harris shave stick and do the same whilst I am on the road as well. Taking johnniegold's 3017 journey has certainly taught me what I like.
