What are you drinking tonight?

Last night too many Manhattans in celebration of my brother's birthday, made with Henry McKenna, single barrel, bottled in bond, but not the barrel number that won that competition in San Francisco. Still pretty good. Cocchi and something, I thought but I cannot find a photo of the bottle on-line, red vermouth. DYI sour cherries mascerated in cognac, sugar, and a cinnamon stick. Angostura bitters.

Friends over for dinner last night: Asahi beers, Kiwi Pinot Noir rose, a rather good Puaillac and a few Botanists and Fever Tree light tonic. Mildly slow start to Sunday.

Well, it beats the 2003 Douro I had the other night, nice as that was.
