What are you doing or going for New Years Eve 2012?

Since we are in the Season of the holidays, I pose a question to Members...One & All;

What will you be doing (with family and loved ones, dancing the night away, going to a black tie event, private party, New Years in Times Square, ect...), for New Years Eve 2012?

Me and the Mrs. you ask? Well, we both will be staying home together (for once...and this time without the grandkids)!

My wife is working and my parents and sister are coming for a visit. My tradition is to go to Ruth's Chris, where my wife works, and ring in the new year. My folks are going to watch our girls so I can run up there for midnight. Might even get my sis to watch the girls so that I can take my folks up!

It's my daughter's birthday. We'll spend the day doing whatever she wants. Always in for a tgreat when you let a 4 year old call the shots.

Probably nothing very exciting. My wife and I generally prefer the quiet New Years at home after the hustle and bustle of work Christmas parties and visiting families. Some friends are in town visiting their families over the holiday season. We might have them over, play some board games, get caught up on life over the last year or so. And eat some of the mountain of candy that appeared over Christmas! Next year I might have to stipulate that my family gives grocery items instead of heaps of chocolate.

Bingo! had a party at my house a couple years ago. best part was all the free booze that was left!
last year i stayed home, feel asleep before midnight.
this year my buddy's band is playing at a bar in Chicago. I suspect i might be going.
