I come from a machine shop background, so it's hard for me to get it through my thick skull that I should just sand or grind things to fit.
I found a sheet of 1/8" jade G-10 today for scales, courtesy of my old employer, and I've got some Corian color samples I figured to use for the wedge.
I was hoping to be able to machine the wedge to a specific angle, so I could just slice them off a length as needed. So, is there a specific angle that you shoot for, or do you just play it by ear until things look the way you want?
