Was hoping to pickup a vintage version of the Merkur 41c that had brass/copper construction and found this Gillette old type with Ericsson handle. In appearance, I think it’s as close as you can get to the 41c, but unfortunately the top cap is bent and doesn’t support the blade correctly. Super bummed. I might try to find a thick old type cap, but I guess this part of the game when buying old stuff. Also open to recommendations for a current open comb similar to these little guys that uses brass/copper construction. Here are some pics.
