Well mine won't be metal but Iam building one that will hold three brushes hanging plus room for two to stand on top. Will be made from oak. I can post pictures once Iam finished.
I garbage picked this last year with some coaxing from my friend. Looks like it was a component from a larger piece, some kind of shadowbox or something? - I think it may've been from Target based on the markings. I just had to reset the "shelves" to accommodate my various brush heights. You could probably do similar with any shallow wooden box or tray, maybe a wine box even? Measures 13"x13"x3" D.
it's not finished yet, still have add a few coats of tung oil but wanted to throw these up to give you a idea. the piece is 10" long and 2.75" wide. two if the notches are 1.25" and the smaller one is 1"
You mean what the rack in the back ground? It's a set of shelves I made for my aftershaves and soaps.I just drew up the design the other night and have finally been able to make it. My dad gave me a few pieces of oak for it and the brush rack. Iam also making a over head shelf out of cedar for my odds and ends. I will post pictures once Iam finished.
I have a cabinet to the side of my mirror..... i bought some velcro "dots" and use them to hang my brushes upside down from the cabinet. It's a super cheap fix that works well. Biggest downside is that you can't stand your brushes hair up.
Here is a picture of another corner.
I presently have 4 brushes and a couple of razors stored on it. The "salsa" bowls were 3 for a buck at the Dollar Tree, and each holds a different soap. I bought samples from Mike's, Ogallala, and Bald Frog.
