Wade & Butcher Safety Razor DE

Take a look at my Wade and Butcher DE! I was surprised when I found it, thinking that W&B only made straights. When I bought it, I didn't realize that the handle is merely a Fat Tech handle, but the head and guard are very nice quality. Was this a quick attempt for W&B to get into the DE market?

I haven't shaved with it yet actually, so I'm not sure I'm ready to sell/ trade it. I'll let you know how it shaves though.

What do the blades look like? Judging by the bottom of the head, standard modern blades may not work. Looks like big square guide pins? Very pretty, and I didn't know they made a DE. Thanks for posting pics, let us know how it works!

I went to shave with it and then found out that it actually doesn't take modern DE blades, so that's too bad. The guide pins are square at the bottom, which makes it incompatible. The box talks about "curved blades" so I guess W&B was trying to make users buy only their own brand blades.
