Vulfix VS/5?

What's anyone's experience with this one? How does it work with cremes/soaps? Does it have the smell some other boars have? What's the break-in period like? I've got it lined up for a test drive, but I'd like to hear what you all think. :confused1

I like it for both cremes/soaps. No smell that I remember, so must not have been bad if any. Don't remember much of a break in period either. Started right off good and is probably gooder as time goes by (if there is such a word). I'd say get one, you may just like it! I do!

Hi Coughdrop. I've got one and the VS5's only worth buying as a travel brush. It works fine but the knot's not dense at all and its principle plus point is its affordability. I'd get the Men-U boar, especially if you're in The UK or an Omega or even a Vulfix 404 hybrid. There are too many other great brushes to spend on an only acceptable one IMHO.

I would have to agree with this post. The VS/5 is very thin and while I'm still waiting for mine to break in, but I doubt very much that it will bring a performance improvement.

I have a VS1 and have checked out the others including the 5. They are OK brushes, work pretty good, but aren't very dense. My is starting to lose about a hair a use but that is after a year of a lot of use.
