Vintage Pinaud Bottle - Stopper Suggestions?

I have a vintage Pinaud bottle - it's not specific for the Clubman variety, but I figure it's a decent decanter for some of it. It says "Ed Pinaud, Paris, Registered" on the front, and "Ed Pinaud, 4, Property of H & C. Klotz & Co Bottle" on bottom.

My question is this: I don't have a stopper for this bottle. Does anyone have a similar bottle that they've come up with a stopper for? Ideas/suggestions as to what to use?

Great find. I hope you get some good suggestions. Off the top of my head probably the easiest found solution would be the stopper from one of the bottles sold for dispensing olive oil. Not the best by any means but functional after you develop a technique for dispensing a 'splash'.

If you go to a local restaurant supply you can find some small rubber ones that when you apply pressure will release a small amount of liquid. .

Measure the opening and shop here: http://www.widgetco.com/cork-stoppers, buying your size and one size smaller and larger than your measurement.

I did...

Hard to tell the exact size from a picture, but I agree a wine cork would probably work, but you might have to shave it a bit. Also, some good bourbons come with a cork in the bottle. Again, it might be too big and need to be shaved down.

The positive for me is in either case I get to drink the contents - and I love good red wine and good bourbon. :001_smile

Get a Bell/Flip Top Bottle Stopper. If you plan on putting product in the bottle, I think you're better off with one with a rubber seal to avoid a traditional cork from spoiling the content's scent/fragrance. They have quite a variety of them on Amazon...

Or if you want to use the bottle, you could also use something more versatile like an oil pourer/stopper like this this one from Oxo:

Or just some plain rubber stoppers:

Perhaps an orifice reducer from a plastic Pinaud bottle could be fashioned to fit:

It may save precious droplets of Lilac Vegetal from being spilled.

Any beer and wine brewing shop will have an assortment of cork sizes. Thats what I use for antique mall bottle finds.

Perfect fit with the rubber stopper I ordered! I also received my bottle of [what I presume to be rare] Clubman Cologne Concentrate today. See below.

Where did you find that bottle of Clubman Cologne Concentrate? I'm envious.

This one was on the auction site. I had a few hot searches saved, and saw it come up in my email early morning during my commute. I did a little research and it looks like the only bottles left of this stuff were New Old Stock that was recently found and sold on here in the hobbyist forum months ago. Since I didn't think we would be seeing anymore bottles of this stuff, I decided to grab it.
