Yikes, have I got it bad now! I visited the new home of some "older" friends who are always buying stuff in antique shops. As they showed us around, she led us into a guest bathroom which had a small two-door antique cabinet on the wall filled with old shaving stuff. Her husband's now-unused NEW was there beside an UNUSED gold New in its case with the original gold blade holder full of original blades. The next door held a Slim Adjustable, dirty but without any corrosion. Next to that was a Red Tip SS in excellent condition. A 1912 in rough shape. And others I didn't recognize
She said that she picked each of them up for $5, has no specific interest in collecting razors per se, and they are never used.
Now to to try to talk her into selling some of them to me...
