I have found quite a few at antique stores, they hide. So far no elusive simpsons but I did score an aluminum rubberset last week.
sometimes if you do watch ebay and pay attention, sometimes can find awesome deals. I found a red and creme ever ready in very good shape for $5. Only because they titled it wrong.
I guess you want a brush handle in order to re-knot it...In my opinion don't look for any vintage, overpriced "garbage", just get a brand new Vulfix 404 mix which costs £10.80 -10% discount and if you ordered from Ex European Countries is also - 20% the VAT. I love the vintage handles. All but one of my razors are vintage and they look great when paired.
I found a Red Over Cream Everready at an antique store for $5 also.
Honestly FleaBay is the best source. I have bought several and found them from $5 to $15 with shipping. You just have to keep watching.
Three were NOS and are some of my best brushes (2 badger a 1 boar).

There are also a lot on ebay. But I have yet to find an antique store without one (OK a couple of tiny stores, but then I went into a couple of other tiny stores and they had many).
