Vintage Erasmic blades

Hi. I've just come across a pile of unopened Erasmic (silk edge) blades at a local antique shop... has anyone here tried them? I'm a bit nervous about trying old blades... is there anything to be worried about? They are all still in their original packaging and plastic wrap.

I would try them. Let us know what you decide to do. If they are stainless they may be very good. If they are carbon steel they could be okay or unusable. Good luck.
