Vintage brush badger or not

Just bought this for $10 and it's soft as butter man! The handle made of some kind of plastic and have a nice "butterscotch" color.
I wonder if it's a badger or not, sure looks and feels like one, what do you gentlemen belive it to be?

Dont know. No box or markings. I think its made in Sweden though. Really soft badger. Have just cleaned and sanitized the brush and going to try it tommorow.

That is a badger and looks like a nice brush.

There is one thing that I would do because it is developing the doughnut hole is to get some MAC Brush cleaner. Clean it once completely dunking it in with pure solution (soaking in a small container is good) for about five minutes then rinse thoroughly and shake the remaining water out. Let it dry completely and then after it dries, go back again and clean it as if you were using a shampoo. Rinse and gently comb it with a small fine tooth comb gently from the bottom to the top and let dry again.

MAC Brush Cleaner is used in the cosmetic industry to safely remove build up from knots and is also a disinfectant as well. It is better than vinegar and borax and other shampoos. Yes, I have used those methods as well, but MAC Brush Cleaner was recommended to me by Ben74 and it cleaned up and restore a brush knot that I thought would have to be replaced back to a very nice condition.

Order it straight from the manufacturer because you can get the best deal on the product.
