Verbena Soap without any Verbena.....

I love Citrus and Verbena scents, Lemon Verbena (Aloysia citrodora), Verbena (Verbena officinalis) & Lemon, Cedrat (Citron), and Orange Blossom.

I bought a few Le Couvent des Minimes (a brand of L'Occitane en Provence) Verbena and Citron soaps and they don't contain any Verbena, it still smells very nice and adds a new essential oil to look out for May Chang (Litsea cubeba).

I have googled and it is banned by the perfume industry body - IFRA, but what do they now use as Lemon Verbena? They have also banned Cade (Juniper).......

Ah HAH! That's probably a contributing reason behind our loss of the Cade scented shave soap from L'occitane.

Any idea what precipitated the ban? Do they say why?

Whaaaat? I bought a new Cade shaving soap last week. It is still available, and in production.
The customer service of L'Occitane confirmed this information to me a few weeks back.

L'Occitane still produces Lemon Verbena and Cade products, apparently Cade Oil is allowed if is rectified (whatever that involves).

There has been some discussion of the Cade soap being discontinued. I know that the splash is no longer available from L'Occitane website. That's probably what I was thinking of, though, not the soap.
