value of a New Improved

Hi Gents,

Just curious about the value of a gold New Improved in fairly good shape..(uncased) A guy in an antique store has one in an old gem case - he seems pretty open to offers and its been there for a few months at least

i have looked on the BST but theres a fair bit of variation
id like to get the thing for a good price

Unless boxed and in really good condition, I would not pay more than $10. That's it's value to me, however, the price may be higher in other markets and other people may value it higher, too.

I got mine locally at a second-hand shop (not antique store) for $5 and love using it. Look around on the bay and you'll see them for less than $15 shipped.

Make them an offer if you feel you can get it for a price you're happy with. If that doesn't work out, keep and eye on BS&T - they come up fairly frequently. You can do a WTB, also.
