V8

The can says that it's "100% vegetable juice from concentrate with added ingredients. Isn't that mathematically impossible?

Maybe it means that the concentrate is 100% vegetable juice and then they add ingredients (water, preservatives, etc.) to it.?.?

Or, Instead of saying 90% vegetable juice and 10% other ingredients to equal 100%, maybe it just means that the total contents of the can is 100% - in this case it's juice and other ingredients.

Nope. . . 100% of it has 100% of what was put into it. I think they could have just said . . . "this is made out of stuff".

It works the same way as 0% fat

As long as something is below a certain fraction of a percent. It's zero percent. However this does not apply to ingredients list (hence the "less than 0.2% of...")

I love V8 but haven't ever tried the trader joe's garden patch...may have to make a purchase this weekend.

The trader joe's garden patch is like V8 on steroids.

Add some Worcestshire sauce and lemon juice to V8 to get an idea of how it tastes.

My ***** about V8 is the sodium. I wouldn't touch any of the V8 varients, because of the HFCS, but the sodium thing is bad for your heart, retains water, and is lousy if you're watching your weight. I guess a little from time to time won't kill you, but a steady diet of it just might.

They have a low-sodium version, but it's not too tasty.
