Using too much product

With Christmas approaching I have noticed I'm using a little extra cream, hitting the puck more often, and changing my blades more frequently. Lowering my supply all in hopes of justifying a large holiday aquisition in December to SWMBO. Anyone else doing this? Consciously or not

i dont have anyone to answer to but myself....yet when i notice my AS is getting low in the bottle i tend to use a little more each time, same with my Bigelow cream.

Here's some justification for you to use:

If you use too much product, you might get a spectacularly-comfortable shave. If you use too little product, you might slice your face off.

Not that SWMBO would care.

No reason to use more, just put together your wish list. If your SWMBO is like mine she doesn't recognize one soap from another and won't notice if you are getting low.

My product usage hasn't gone up but I'm certainly looking forward to finding out which family member drew my name for Christmas. Fendrihan and The Italian Barber are a callin.

Maybe it's ungentlemanly, but I'm married and I certainly do not treat my wife like"SWMBO". If I want something, especially something as minor as a puck of soap or a bottle of AS, I'm going to buy it. Period. Perhaps this comes from us having our own checking accounts for our own personal purchases, living a near debt-free lifestyle, and never noticing, let alone paying any sort of close attention to her own aquisitions. This thread would fit in perfectly at a firearms forum I visit.
