Hello gentlemen, I bought an old WWI Autostrop razor about 2 years or so ago from Razor Emporium. The pouch it is in says Property US Army on it, but the razor head does not. I was going to sell this set awhile ago and the potential buyer declined. I'm not sure why, except for two possibilitys; 1. There is no blade bank, 2. The razor head does not state "Property US Army" on it. Could this be a mismatched set? The razor head does have 3 patent dates on the inside that indicate the time frame of manufacture is correct. Did these old Autostrop razors from WWI even have the traditional "Property US Army" stamp on them? I will say at this point that I believe this set is not mismatched, and that the sellers I bought it from did not misrepresent this set. They would not knowingly do that. My motive in this post is to simply determine whether or not these razor heads all had the "US Army" stamp on them.
