Hello All, I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving weekend and gained at least a few pounds.
I wanted to give everyone an update on SCS as I move closer to reopening. I have had a very busy month moving the shop and prepping my Mom's house for sale. My brothers and I had the shop moved in a couple of days but not much space to put it. It all ended up in my garage, along with about 70% of her household belongings. The shop is in tact now inside my home with supplies lingering in various locations and I can get two trucks back in the garage. Somehow I knew years ago that having a 1300 sf garage would come in handy some day. I still have the issue of moving my office. I plan to do that this week with a little help.
I have come across enough soap and shave cream experiments to last my family 10 years. I knew my Mom kept busy at night to keep from getting lonely but I had no idea how much "stuff" she made. I found what appeared to be deodorant tubes that smelled great, so running low in my current stock I though I would give it a try. Needless to say about five minutes later my underarms were sticking together. I still have no clue what I used but it was funny none the less.
As I finished sorting through the final boxes and tubs of stuff that landed at my house I discovered I am not real sure what is good product and experimental. I threw out many batches of various things and will be starting from scratch. I have also noticed that many of our recipes were thrown in a box and intermingled with revised recipes. With that being said I will be removing some product from our site until the product is perfected. I have to try all 8 cream recipes I have found then send for testing to make sure I am offering the best product for sale. This will take some time. I will be continuing with most of the regular line and want to expand on some of our originals, with hopes to offer splashes, milks, edt's, soap and cream in all of our signature fragrances that we currently offer.
I really appreciate all of your ongoing support of SCS and our family. I am very excited to get back to working with all of you very soon.
