Can someone please explain the term "Überlather" to me? I'm sure this is a dumb question but I keep seeing this pop up everywhere. I'm assuming it is simply a term for a good quality, thick lather... Thanks.

Superlather and überlather refer to mixes of different types of product to form your lather. Superlather is a mix of two or more shaving specific products, such as one shaving soap and one shaving cream. Überlather is superlather with added pure glycerin.
The purpose of these mixes are to combine properties from several products to form a better lather.

Mitchell's Wool Fat soap and I Coloniali Rhubarb shaving cream would be an example of superlather.
Castle Forbes lime shaving cream, Vitos Extra Coconut soap and a few drops of glycerin would be überlather.

Cool, thanks - and where might one find said 'pure glycerin'?

Just go easy on the glycerin though. Start with a drop, 2 max.
WalMart and Target have it. I had trouble finding it at Walgreens and CVS and the employees had no idea what I was asking for.
