I noticed that some DE89 smooth chrome handles have "Sheffield England" engraved around the ball end of the handle, but my DE89 smooth chrome handle only have some simple lines around the ball end.Why is this? Different manufacturing runs? Different production years?
Edwin Jagger and Muhle collaborated on the design of that head back in the day; I assume around 1989? Although they share a common design, the heads are manufactured separately in England and Germany. Both companies offer a great variety of handles to suit a shaver's preferences.
