That's called curly koa. You can find it readily on Ebay, though it gets pretty pricey. Really nice stuff to work with. Its very stable and strong.
Those scales are more beautiful than ivory to me. And I love my ivory...
The second one"outtasight", is that mammoth ivory? Do i see metal liners? Nice!

Not mammoth ivory, just some very wicked spalted, burled, frost-checked elm with ebony liners. Mammoth ivory would be awesome though

+1 on the ivory, though its so expensive. Although some of the wood I use costs more money than the same quantity of ivory, lol.
