Congratulations, that's a great deal on a great gizmo. I use mine and I get very very good results especially with Derby blades, but they work well on all blades.

You'll get lots of responses from people who tell you "don't bother, blades are cheap, just throw them away". Ignore these folks. Use the stropper and have fun with it.

I use mine after a few shaves and when the blade would otherwise get rough. It won't sharpen the blade, but it will prolong its life in the sense of getting smooth shaves from blades that would otherwise not be usable.
