Tweezermans are sold in RiteAid?

I was just wondering if anyone could confirm that Tweezerman Brushes are sold at Riteaid stores? I saw a post from November where somebody say they picked one up at Riteaid. I always wanted to tryone, and if I could pick one up at Rite-aid I wouldn't mind trying one. *coughs* SBAD:closedeye

Anyone know?

Thanks,
Chrislols

I've never seen Tweezerman in RiteAid, but it may be a regional thing. I'm in NJ just like you are ... RiteAids in different parts of the country might stock different lines.

I have seen the Tweezerman brush in Whole Foods market. You might get it cheaper from Amazon, though.

Here in Southeastern Virginia, you can buy a Tweezerman badger brush at Harris Teeter (a grocery store).

Mind you, the store doesn't carry any lathering creams whatsoever and no soaps, not even VDH. So, you could buy the brush there but they can't sell you anything to use with the brush.

It's kind of pitiful.

Oh, and now that I think of it, I did see a Tweezerman at a RiteAid once, about a year a half ago.

Yeah, according to online at Riteaid, it's the same price as Amazon shipped. Don't feel like charging a Tweezerman though just for my curiosity.

And I defiantly don't feel like trekking to Wholefoods for one. :cursing:

Oh well, if anyone has seen them in Riteaids though, let me know!

Thanks

Yep, I bought mine at Amazon.com too. I happen to have a Prime Membership (free shipping) and let me tell you, I've been putting it to good use since getting bitten by the vintage shaving bug!

Rite Aid carries a lot of Tweezerman products, but they focus on women's stuff - makeup brushes, nail files, tweezers (not surprisingly!). It's not inconceivable that the occasional store ends up with a shaving brush or two, but I've never seen on.

I saw them at the Harris Teeter here in Bethesda, MD as well.

Have not seen them at Rite Aid, but CVS has them online only. Saw a special on them about 2 weeks ago for around $13.00

Also, I wouldn't suggest it. I would go for the $35 Crabtree and Evelyn brush. Yeah, it's three times as much, but I would say it's three times better or more. The brush is one of the most important parts of your shave, and I wouldn't fool around with these cheaper brushes. Also, unlike other parts of your shave, the brush is something you are going to hang on to longer than most of the tools in your collection.

Every C&E near me no longer carries them.
