Tweezerman Badger Shave Brush only $8.50 now

Tweezerman 100% Badger Shave Brush $8.50 F/S w/ Prime

Linky:

Not too bad a price I think

I got into wet shaving with a DE Razor a few months back and like it with the cheap boar brush.
I was looking for a step up, nothing too expensive and found this deal as well as the Escali badger brush deal posted as well.

Hope this helps someone.

My tweezerman smelled awful for a long time and I can't believe I actually powered through it. They probably got it from a badger during mating season.
IMHO it is overrated and a waste of good money that could be put into something more decent.

That's a great price. If I remember right I think I paid almost twice that price for mine.
I use my Tweezerman on a regular basis and it always works great.

A great little brush for not too much.

It was my first brush as well. I still travel with mine!

I have never owned one, but I imagine it must be pretty torturous to shave with a smelly brush! :thumbdown
I admit it had that Weasel Butt smell to it when I got it, but it was nothing a good shampooing didn't get rid of. :biggrin1:

TOO SMALL! The tweezerman is TINY! Most of my brushes, and definitely my two favorites, are 30mm brushes with a nice loft. What whould I do with a lil tweezy? Not even big enough for a travel brush. I had one. I gave it away to someone I didn't particularly care for. Sure, for its size, it is a very good brush. FOR ITS SIZE. If you want a little dinky brush, lil tweezy is hard to beat. If you want a real man's brush, get a man size brush.

Brushes are made from natural animal products, there's a lot of variation between them.
Odds are good that any brush you buy is going to have some serious funk the first few times you use it, it's just part of the deal.

Hahaha. Wow, Slash, tell us how you really feel.

I stand by my original statement. It's a good brush for a small investment; yes, Larry's brushes/knots from Whipped Dog would be much better but they'll cost more. I find that the Tweezerman is perfect for face lathering.

Grown to love my tweezerman brush, yes it took awhile to break in, but is now soft and whips up a very good lather with many creams I've tried and just as quickly as my Vie Long. And that's a good price for someone just starting to get into the wetshave scene with little outlay.

+1

My first brush was a tweezerman. It took a little while to break in but it works great and I'll still throw it in the mix with my $100+ brushes once in a while. I never had a problem with smell either. For the price this brush is great! I recommend this brush to any new wet shavers who don't want to spend a lot right off the bat.

Rather well. Best used in a large-ish bowl (go figure) with a hard soap. Best lather came from Klar Kabinette. Never tried it with cream but it excels with a good soap.
