Trying to make my own tendskin

I can't find uncoated aspirin on Amazon. There's some that are not labeled at all. Has anyone used regular, store-brand aspirin to see if it makes a difference?

ASA is all pretty much the same. The enteric coating probably isn't doing much if you take it like you should, with food. My pharmacology Prof used to say if aspirin were invented today it would be a prescription drug. It can play havoc with blood clotting factors.

So, long story short: buy what's cheapest!

Use salicylic acid instead. Neutragena makes a lotion containing this ingredient (Clear Pore Oil Eliminating Astringent), usually found with the acne treatments.

I used this for acne when I was younger and I still use it if I get a spot from shaving where a whisker is irritating my face and trying to go ingrown. 2% salicylic acid is only gently exfoliating, but it will also calm the skin like asprin.
