Treet Classic versus Treet DuraSharp

I have tried and used both of these blades. To me the Classics are far superior. They are both sharper AND smoother than the DuraSharps.

Has anybody else tried both of these blades? If so, which did you prefer and why?

Which DuraSharp are you talking about? The one with the yellow box, or the one with the cool blue scroll box?

This one is a little tuggy, but gives a good shave. Has great looking packaging.

I do not perceive any difference between this one and the Treet Classic. I get great smooth shaves from both of these, and I like the fact that they all come in boxes of 10 blades. My only complaint is that none of these work for me in my Old Type.

Interesting, because this morning I used it in my Old Type. I thought the shave was OK. The two blades I'm talking about are the ones in your last two pictures.

Maybe I'm crazy, but it seems to me like the Classic is a better blade in all respects.

I've used both the Classic (Yellow/Red Box) and the Dura Sharp (yellow/red box). The both rank in my top 5 worst blades I've ever tried. I was disapointed. Many have had good results with both.

I don't think you are crazy, just that YMMV thing. I found that the Astra Stainless works for me in my Old Type.

When I get through all the blades I have I will be ordering the Classics though. I just figured I liked them more because I like the colors of the box better. If the Classics came in the blue scroll box, I would be on that like white on rice!

I like the Durasharp Classic Silver Edge blades, actually. I pulled a couple of them out of the traveling blade box, and they were surprising. I picked up a bunch more and have not been disappointed. They perform well for me in the slim or fatboy.

I prefer the Durasharps, excellent for only 2 shaves though in my experience. I haven't given much time to Classic yet, having tried them in two razors only but will find a match for it yet.

I'm confused- the Treet website only shows Durasharps and Black Beauties.
Isn't the Classic just an older version of the Durasharp, ie they're the same PTFE-coated carbon steel blade in different packaging?

Treet Classic and Treet Dura Sharp DE blades are the same blades

I wrote to Treet and after a lot of failed connections got a reply:

Q:[W]hether Treet Classic and Treet Dura Sharp DE blades are the same blades, same coating.

A: Yes both blades are similar with same coating.
