Traveling with shaving creams

Can I take cream from a tube and put it into a traveling type container and not have the consistency change. I would use a dollop with my finger onto the brush. Don't want to take the tube with me as top is not secure.

Sure...I have used mini containers to take on trips with me.

No problem changing containers. I do it all the time as I travel 3 out of 4 weeks. Seal the container with a little tape just to make sure.
