Travel Shave Stick Containers

I love shave sticks. My two favorites are Palmolive and Valobra. Valobra might have actually just booted MWF out as my best possible shave choice. I love them because I have very sensitive skin and I will occasionally get a little irritation just from rubbing my SOC 2 Band on my face too much and that never happens with shave sticks because they lather so well so quickly and provide a layer of slickness between the bristles and your face before the brush first touches your skin. Anyway, my question:

I'd love to be able to travel with these sticks, but don't want to just toss them inside my kit without some container to protect them, especially the Valobra because only the bottom third or so of the stick is wrapped in foil.

I know that there are sticks that come with nice containers such as La Toja and Tabac but I'm looking for a solution to carry Valobra. I've thought about using a pill bottle. That would do the trick but I'd like something that looks better. I know that there are containers like this available from WCS, but they're too large for small sticks like Valobra. Right now I'm keeping my eyes on eBay for a nice vintage container like this:

Anybody have any other ideas for a classy container for travel? For those shave stick lovers, how do you carry your shave stick for travel?

Vintage shave stick containers are nice and I do use them at home..... but for traveling I like to use a pill bottle or empty bullion cube bottle as they don't dent like the vintage ones do

Those will work & come in a variety of sizes too. I really like the type that is more then just a container though. My favorite is the "Handy Grip" by Colgate. I have a Palmolive stick in mine now. There are two different type tops that I know of. One with treads on top to screw back onto the container & one without. I like the one that screws back into the top, as the container now makes for a nice handle. I also use the "Holder Top" made by Williams (Has Arko in it) but I really prefer the Handy Grip one.

In my pic the first Handy Grip on the left has the screw top lid, the next one is the Palmolive with the top screwed back on & the next one doesn't have the screw top. Also a small Colgate container then the Williams Holder Top & a Williams small container. On the far right is the Williams flip top with a vintage Williams stick.

I haven't had any trouble with dents on mine yet while traveling but I never fly, just road trips that I have control over my luggage. I also find that I'm just as likely to drop mine at home as I would in a hotel room.

I think they all will work, just depends on how you like to use them. If you watch the bay they come up all the time. The "Handy Grip" with the top that screws back in can be a little harder to find though.

I use a pharmacy obtained 60 dram bottle for my brush and a smaller dram bottle for my shave stick. Just ask at the pharmacy counter, and more than likely they will just give you a couple of bottles.
