Travel Bags

[Chiller]

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone knows of a good travel / toiletries bag with plenty of storage space as I will be using it to keep all my gear in when it's not in use since my wife has put them into one of her old makeup bags!



I would like something which is a nice size (not huge) lots of compartments and manly lol

I just ordered a DR Harris military roll-up wet pack from Phil at Bullgoose Shaving. I don't have a lot of stuff, so it should work just fine for me. I intend to hang it from a hook on the bathroom door for daily use, then roll it up and take it with me when I travel.

I had been using a zippered bag (washkit), but find the hanging dopp kit to be better.
Hanging in the closet, less issues with the maid messing with my gear and it's not on the wet counter.

Dirt cheap too!

+1 for any hanging Dopp kit. I have a different brand but love its versatility when traveling. The only thing I don't like about mine is it is a little too small.

Go to Home Depot and have a look at all the tool bags and totes. There are rigid open tops, zippered, shoulder straps and handles, pockets inside and outside, bit and small. They aren't pretty but they are cheap and very practical. Look at what they got and I am sure one of their offerings will meet your needs.

My wife got me a very nice travel bag from Danier Leather (not sure if this store is outside of Canada). It's got tons of space, many pockets, and isn't huge. I can't find it on the website though so it may be out of run. At any rate the D.R. Harris roll outs look spectacular!

I just couldn't settle on one thing though. I do like the idea of keeping it vintage though... a lot of cool travel shave sets or kits from the 50's and 60's on eBay. Happy hunting!

Thanks for all the replies, I bid on a few really nice vintage travel kits (really nice) but got outbid by a few pence everytime so I've decided to get the Philips one!
