Tonite was one of my worst shaves ever.

I guess my heart wasn't really in it. I used some Mama Bear unscented, and a Fatip with an Astra SP that had about 3-4 shaves on it (I think). The wife has a habit of (way too often) interrupting me mid-shave, kicking me out of the bathroom. I tore up my face...

Well tonite she did this to tell me she had to pee, then was taking one of the dogs to the emergency clinic. My 12 year old standard poodle has been previously diagnosed with Addison's disease, so it is tough to tell if something is really wrong, or just not enough steroids in her system...

Wow sorry to hear about your dog, hope he is ok. If I'm going to be interrupted when I shave I won't. Sometimes it can't be helped or I'll be pressed for time but I won't try to get that BBS, just ok shave.

No one likes to be interrupted when they are having their own time while shaving. No way to lock the door, or do it at a different time such as early morning to start the day?

Sometimes that happens. I hate it when I phone rings while I'm shaving. Sometimes I'll just let the machine get it. I have noticed that when I'm interupted or in a hurry, the quality of my shave suffers.

No interruptions when shaving unless it's an emergency or there might be one. Try to talk it over?

I agree with the comments along the lines of "If you don't feel like it, then don't. If you heart is not in it, etc".

I have found I can't "cut corners" so to speak.

My condolences to your family regarding your dog. We consider our dog a member of our family, and would be heartbroken if anything were to happen to her.
As for your shave, it's unfortunate to hear that it wasn't a pleasant experience. Since I transitioned to traditional having, it has become a relaxing luxury that I definitely don't take for granted anymore. Best of luck for next time!
