Thought I'd share my finds from today, and see what the general consensus was on them. Any help dating them/etc would be greatly appreciated. Please excuse the cell phone pics. All are before any clean-up.
1. George Butler - "Yorkshire Bite"
A wedge, that measures between 5/8" & 6/8" wide, with most of the etching intact. Scales appear to be original horn. Stamped "YB18" on the non-show side of the tang.
2. Frederick Reynolds - "The Celebrated Hollow Ground"
Measures just a hair over 5/8" wide, etching is still clearly legible. Faded/discolored horn scales, lead wedge.
3. John Elliot's "Celebrated Razor"
Measures just over 5'8". Full hollow, horn scales (possibly not original?), lead wedge.
4. Wade & Butcher - "Celebrated Hollow Ground"
Measures between 5/8" & 6/8" wide. Horn scales, lead wedge. Interesting diamond shaped grind with etching on the spine.
5. Wade & Butcher - "Famous Keen Shaving Bow Razor"
Pretty stoked about this one. Measures between 6/8" & 7/8" wide. Horn scales, lead wedge.
