TOBS Jermyn St.

I have a tub of TOBS Sandlewood in cream. I want to order the Jermyn St. but I'm not sure to stick with the cream or try the hard soap in a bowl. Has anyone used both and have a preference? I love the lather I get from the Sandlewood cream, it has become my favorite along with proraso green. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'm currently giving the Jermyn St soap the 3017 treatment (use it exclusively until it's gone), but I've never tried the cream. I have used TOBS Eton College cream, and can say that I haven't seen any difference in the quality of lather between the two.I get nice moist lathers out of it, and my face feels great following my shave. It takes a little longer to lather since it's a soap, but I'd definitely recommend it.

Great scent in the Jermyn. I haven't tried the soap though. I think soaps are more fun overall, and guys here typically prefer the performance of soaps.

I own and use both but I prefer the soap. I find it very easy to get great lather from it.

Thanks for the info everyone. I think the soap is the way to go. Attila, very nice lather going on there!

I can't take the credit for that one. The beautiful pictures and superlative equipment as well as exceptional lather belongs to Xillion.
