I haven't used my Adjustable yet and was curious which razor is most liked when it comes to these razors. With my EJ89, I find Feather to work best for me when compared to Derby, Astra, Personna, and some others I can't remember at the moment. What do you guys find to give the best/closest shave with your adjustable?
To those with the "Slim Adjustables" what blades do you find to give the best shave?

For me it's the Personna Lab or Med blades. But then again I find these blades work great for me in any DE.
I was blown away by the smoothness of a red IP when I first tried it in my Slim (set to 7) about 2 years ago.
7OC yellow or black
Astra SP and Red IPs are my go to blades for a slim, but I haven't had any problems with most decent blades I've tried in it.
Feathers for me
I set the razor at two and use a Feather. Great shave, no burn, no red... YMMV
Crystal Blades, and Personna Lab. (These are the ones in the white Dispenser with no wrapper.)
I like the Feather and Gillette Blacks in my Slim.
I like Personna Lab Blue
I get good results with both Gillette 7 O'Clock Super Platinum and SharpEdge blades in my Slim Adjustable.
Polsilvers. Great in everything I've tried.
Crystals and Feathers.
Feathers are great in an adjustable. If you like them in a EJ89 I suggest you dial the Slim to a 6 for Feathers and & 7 for the Astra blades.
As you can see, it's a YMMV thing. But for me and mine, 7OC Blacks and Astra SPs work best.
Feathers on my Slim Adjustable, no contest. I usually use the milder settings though.

I used Shark SS and 7 o'clock yellow Russians in my Slims. I used the Slims in a different manner than most guys seem to do; I started at 2 and dialed it up to 4 as the blade mellowed out. As I only do 2+ passes I used to have at least 10 good shaves out of the Shark and 15 with the 7 o'clock. It is really all about technique, you can't buy a good shave...
