What's new

To those who enjoy a nice cuppa

Gentleman, while I have spent the overwhelming majority of my time exploring the razor forum, I have neglected to visit the Cafe. So share with this newbie: how do you take your tea?

i personaly switch back and forth between westren and gongfu style tea prep depending on how lazy i am that day.

i never use shugar or creeme since it takes away from the tea most times unless the tea specificaly calls for it. (some chai's)

I don't take my tea with cream/sugar, but then again, I primarily drink puerh's and oolong's gongfu style, which generally don't call for any additions.

First, welcome to the Cafe!
I think that you will find that due to the higher quality of teas generally being discussed here that virtually no one uses any cream, sugar, lemon or anything else. We are not talking about bagged teas here that are made from the leftover tea dust. Generally, folks are looking to experience the true flavors of these fine green, white, oolong, black or pu-erh teas. With proper preparation, you will find that they do not need anything else and would in fact be diminished by adding anything else.
Not trying to hammer anyone that likes teabag tea with cream and sugar, just trying to put into context what you will be reading about in the threads here.

Cheers,
