tips for SAFELY and CHEAPLY mailing razor blades

i'm curious how someone that wants to PIF razor blades would go about mailing them? all the blades i deal with are mostly in a boxed cardboard 5pk, and then individually wrapped in some type of paper. Would it be safe to ship a variety, say 5, blades that are individually wrapped in their paper still, in a regular ole envelope? with a 34 cent stamp.

i'd like to ship them safely of course but also keep the price of shipping down. without a buying a padded envelope and bubble wrap, or a box, which all adds to the price of shipping.

heres what im thinking: 5 blades, individually wrapped in their own paper from the mfg, sticky tack or glue dot to a sheet of paper, then fold the sheet of paper to fit in a #10 envelope, put a stamp on it and mail it.

would that suffice and would a 34 cent stamp be enough?

advice please?...

I do this frequently with up to five blades. Just a little piece of transparent tape on one end of the blade will secure it to the inside of a greeting card, so the recipient can just lift the other end of the blade to peel it off the card for use. One stamp and mail!

If I am mailing individual blades I usually do this.

I normally use a couple 3x5 index cards and a smaller envelope. But it works just as well with #10 envelopes.
Just cut the slots with an x-acto knife slightly lager than the blade wrapper and slide the blades in. The paper
in the above image was some thick photo paper I had around. This way the envelope doesn't flex as much.
I've shipped many blades this way with no issues.

Forgot to add, the total weight for the envelope shown above was less than a half ounce.

haha wow kinda silly on my part. idk how i got 34 cents in my brain. anyway. thanks for the tips! it's a lot easier than i thought to mail blades. and cheaper. just what i was looking for!

I got a box of party invitations at one of those big lot stores. I think they ended up costing a few cents each. Using masking tape I can put as many as 8 in one card and still send it, safely, for the cost of a single stamp.
