Today I had my third shave with the Tradere SB. The SB has joined the Feather AS D-1 as my 2 favorite razors. After more shaves the SB may edge out the Feather. It is a tad more agressive than the Feather, but that is not a bad thing. It is a little less aggresive than the Tradere OC. Both the OC, the SB, and the Feather are very well made. I don't have a scale so I can say how much they weigh, but the SB seams to have a little more heft than the Feather. That is not to say that the Feather is light, it is not. It has plenty of weight, especially when I compare it with my third favorite razor, the Muhle R89. The SB has given me smooth, close shaves. No pulling or tugging. Very comfortable. Only a few very small nicks, which I attribute to my technique and not to the razor. I decided to have a go with the 2011 R41. No blood bath, just not comfortable for me, and I consentrated a lot harder when I used it because of its reputation. The R41 is not in my regular rotation.
The SB is an excellent razor. I am quite pleased with it. Of course, as with anything, YMMV.
