Thoughts on the Pentax K-7

I am considering the purchase of a new camera to replace my existing Pentax SLR. I have several smaller digital cameras but they do not have the capabilities of a SLR. The attraction of the Pentax is that I would be able to use the high end Pentax lenses that I own. I have heard that the K-7 had some sensor issues when it first hit the market but perhaps have now been corrected...I am not certain of this.

I would like to have your thoughts on this camera to see if it is a good unit or should I bite the bullet and start over with another brand. (ouch!)

I think that I have found the answer to my own question. The replacement for the K-7 which is the K-5 will be available in October. The early specs look very promising.
