Blackfoot and I were discussing this in Chat this morning - Why arn't there any coffee scented creams and soaps? I would imagine that with the luxurious, warm qualities of shaving scents, that coffee would transfer over perfectly.

And then within that, you have the potential to branch out into all the variations - irish cream, hazelnut, french vanilla, mocha, etc.

Has it been done? If so by who and where can I get some!

Anyone else onboard with this?

Mama Bear's has a Turkish Mocha scented soap.. A little on the sweet side, but a good soap!

Charles @ QED has a Mocha Java soap. I thought Sue at SCS has a coffee soap or cream, but it's not on her site now.

The idea is to use brewed coffee instead of just water during the soap making process, but I don't know how much scent remains (I'm sure it depends on the strength of the brew) or how the coffee affects the process.

These folks make a vanilla coffee and coffee shave soap. Honeybee Spa makes a coffee mocha soap. Joanna over at The Shave Den makes a coffee scented shaving soap and cream.

It's a wonder that Starbucks hasn't jumped on this idea. It would be a better use for their coffee, IMO.

We have coffee (Mochachino) shaving cream. It has coffee butter in it as an emollient.

We did have a SC with coffee butter and brewed coffee (regular :) but pulled it. The actual coffee in place of distilled water degraded the lather even though the coffee was brewed with distilled water.

In addition to the ones mentioned above, most of which I've used, I believe the Shave Den (theshaveden.com) also has a coffee and no french vanilla, but a nice vanilla bourbon.
