Thinking about picking up a slant

So I bought one of the dreadnought sets a few months back for when I just don't have the time to shave with a straight. I like the shave however seems DE's are just like straights one isn't enough. Been thinking that I might try a slant, anyone have any recommendations?

I have the bakelite one on italianbarber- it works really well but it's light and you have to get used to the pressure.

If you want a close, aggressive shaver I'd also recommend the Muhle R41- it gives me the closest shaves of all my DE's, doesn't take as long as a straight to use either.

I have an Ibsen slant from the 30´s. The handle is short, something I normally don't like. But the razor was a present and so I use it. Like Taproot´s razor the Ibsen is light, but you´re well-advised not to press it on. You would risk injury. But with less pressure he is gentle and so thorough. Wow!

I was looking for a more aggressive razor and recently picked up a Merkur 37C HD Slant... I use almost every day now. It's especially good for a few days growth.

New or old they can be a sweet shave. While not my everyday razor, a vintage Merkur is a great shave.
Here is one loaded and ready to go.
