Think I may have found a cheap travel case for my brush(es)

There are several sizes available but these seem best suited for shaving brushes:

42mm x 60-80mm
52mm x 80-100mm

At ~$3-5 delivered they're a cheap alternative to the Muhle Protective travel Tube. I will need to drill some holes in them for ventilation.

I am also intrigued! These would be very classy for storing brushes that are not being used in the rotation. Would the OP be so kind as to post a photo with brushes in the cases?

Those Walgreens pill bottles make excellent travel cases for brushes or shave sticks. I've got 4 of them.

I walked in planning to buy them (I'm not on any meds) and the pharmacist (female) gave them to me. :thumbup1:

A Simpsons Case/ Classic 1 / 46 or a Rooney 1/1 all fit well as does a brush I glued together from TGN components.

Brushes are a Whipped Dog 24mm and a restored Century Boar. Both are about 95mm tall. Both brushes slip into the 42mm and the 52mm tubes fine. That said, the 42mm tube is not tall enough and the 52mm tube diameter is a bit large (it will work however). I am going to ask the merchant if they can get taller 42mm storage tubes. The 42mm tubes can be made to work, but the knot has to be squeezed and carefully tucked in.

My observations...
