Well when I first started wet shaving back in 2005 I could not stand the smell. After around a year break then getting back into it I think my tastes have changed. I used TOBS this morning and it was quite a pleasant scent and really enjoyed the shave. I just think it is amazing how a persons prefrences can change in such litle time as a year to two. I believe I will purchase some sandalwood cream to put in my rotation.
Think I like Sandalwood.

I have to agree! Amazing scent, amazing shave!
My first try with Sandalwood, my response was "whoa, this is a strange scent unlike any other".
Having since used a few other Sandalwood products, I have actually grown to like it.

My sister has a sandalwood body spray, and besides being a weird thing to have on its own, I just don't really dig the smell. I definitely pick up the "which way to Woodstock?" scent.

I started out liking sandalwood and there are a lot of variations to sample. I have never liked citrus or foods on my face.

Good sandalwood soap is a scent I enjoy comming back to time and time again. I think I will use my qed sandalwood today 
I disliked it at first stereotyping it as an 'old man's' scent but it has grown on me now so shaving with it is pleasurable not a chore

For me, "Sandelwood" was "love at first smell".. but now, I'm looking at something new, and ordered today a few samples from"the Gentlemens Quarter"... looking out for them now...

Oh man, and that TOBS sandalwood is about as old-man-y as you can get. You must really like sandalwood!!
About 30% of the guys around the shaving forums say that Sandalwood is their favorite fragrance.

the first time i shaved with the AoS sandalwood cream it reminded me of my uncle who always dresses and smells really nice, i like it but can't justify spending that much money in college haha, maybe just for special occassions i'll pick up a tub
