I'm back after a long absence. I think it's been about 8 years. I got busy with life and a new position at work. After that we got busy with being foster parents. Things have slowed down a bit since then. We were able to adopt two teenagers from foster care a few years ago.
I haven't smoked a pipe in quite a few years. My nephew got me a pipe and kit for Christmas, so I started looking at different tobaccos for it. I was reading about STG buying MacBaren/Sutliff and figured I would log back in. Luckily I was able to see the STG issues in time to buy a few samples of tobacco that I remembered, or some that I want to try. It's unfortunate that some of the ones I wanted to try are no longer available. Most of the pipe tobacco I had has been discontinued, so I'm almost starting at square one.
I still shave with a DE and you couldn't pay me enough to switch back to a cart and goo. I haven't shaved with a straight in quite a while. Hopefully I can change that before too much time has passed.
