The shedding has started!!!!

I have a cheap but sentimental badger brush. It was my first real brush. It has been an old reliable and comfortable brush. I noticed a few hairs a couple of weeks ago when it came up in rotation...the last 2 times I have used it, its been more than 10 hairs lost each time.

Is this a sign of things to come or as I fear this the begining of the end?

If it keeps up, I will pull the knot and re-knot the handle...but I am bummed...

If it is shedding that many hairs each shave, I would say it may soon need a replacement knot to resurrect her.

Ten hairs per shave is a lot. I would just go ahead and order a replacement not.
