Just bought some Pinaud Clubman After Shave Lotion at Walgreen's today, and all I have to say is WOW! As a 25 year old going back to the basics of shaving, I was reluctant to try the old school aftershaves, but I regret I didn't try it sooner. My wife even likes it. This scent surely makes one more manly . I am a little nervous to try my Bay Rum that I ordered because I paid more for that, and I have never smelt a Bay Rum, so I'm going off a whim.

It's the only aftershave that I have ever had, that my wife found so disgusting that she threw it in the trash. I didn't think it was that bad, but she is the number one reason why I wear any scent in the first place, so I let her have veto power.

I agree 100 percent. My wife is definitely the determining factor of what I smell like

I love Clubman. It reminds me of going for a haircut with my father as a boy. My girlfriend loves it as well. And no matter what else I wear... she always says "I like it, but its not 'your scent'".

Agreed on Clubman Musk... Its a bit lighter and then dries with a slightly different note. A VERY thin scent of musk. NICE scent!

Old Spice (and the family dollar version) is ALWAYS a classic... Thats my girlfriends number 2 choice.

I don't think I'll ever understand all the Pinaud/Aqua Velva/Brut/Old Spice aficionados. Went to the department store the other day and smelled them all... they all smelled absolutely horrible.
What the heck do you people see (or smell, as the case may be) in this stuff??
