I just picked up the daily facial scrub and the moisturizing shave cream for $2.50ea. I didn't really need another cream but for the price I couldn't resist
Yes, but if it is on clearance, that means it is being discontinued. That's a sad state of affairs, as this was one of the few products available locally throughout much of the us.
Now, I am limited to VDH Deluxe, VDH Select, and C.O Bigelow locally. I can get Williams too, but won't bother, as Williams royally sucks.
Neither was mine. But after coming home from work, running in 100% humidity, showering, eating and then going out to check on the shaving cream, I was already in an obvious weakened state. After hunting for the aisle where they kept the shaving items, I found the creams, not on clearance but at the usual price of $4.99. Instead of leaving, a sly devious thought entered my brain - "Why not check out that moisturizing formula cream?" I have to admit it did not seem like a bad idea. So, I surreptitiously flipped the cap and took a whiff.
Eton College. It smells like Eton College from TOBS. I was hooked. So now, thanks to you enablers, and I mean that as high praise, I now own another tube
of shaving cream. This is the tube with the brown stripe.
No clearance in my neck of the woods either. I still picked up a tube of the moisturizing shaving cream and a bottle of Aqua Velva Musk the other day. Sue me, I hadn't yet tried the musk, just the Ice Blue.
And I completely agree with you, Lou. The moisturizing cream is very reminiscent of TOBS Eton College and it costs around $4.50!
